Coconut flan with honey on the Beach in Mozambique
 Laudemiro and Dorcas invite you to join them for a cool delicious dessert in a grove of tall, graceful coconut trees on the lovely Tofinho beach in Inhambane, Mozambique. This refreshing delicious dessert is perfect after a hearty meal of seafood.

PUDIM DE COCO COM MEL
(Para 6 pessoas)
Ingredientes
- 1 xícara (chá) de açúcar
- 4 ovos
- 2 xícaras (chá) de leite
- 1/2 xícara (chá) de manteiga derretida
- 1/2 xícara (chá) de farinha de trigo
- 150 g de coco fresco ralado
- 1/2 xícara (chá) de mel
- 1 colher (chá) de essência de baunilha
Modo de Fazer
Misture muito bem todos os ingredientes ou bata-os no liquidificador. Coloque em fôrma caramelada e leve ao microondas por 10 a 12 minutos na potência alta. Desenforme depois de frio. Decore com côco raspado e mel.
Servir frio em pratinhos de sobremesa. Regue o pudim com uma pitada do molho.
COCONUT FLAN WITH HONEY
(Makes 6 servings)
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- ½ cup of butter
- ½ cup of wheat flour
- 150 grams of shredded coconut (fresh)
- ½ cup of honey
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
Instructions:
Mix all of the ingredients together for about 10-15 minutes by hand or in a mixer. Put the mixture in a pan (mould). Cook the mixture for 10-12 minutes (in a microwave) on a high temperature. After cooling, take out of the mold by turning upside down. Decorate the flan with shredded coconut and honey.
Serve cold using honey and shredded coconut as a garnish.
