Minnesota Language Proficiency Assessments (MLPA)
The Minnesota Language Proficiency Assessments (MLPA) are a battery of high-quality, proficiency-based second language assessment tools for reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The MLPA use the scale outlined by ACTFL. The University of Minnesota currently administers both entrance and graduation proficiency tests.
NAEP Foreign Language Assessment (NAEP)
This assessment is designed to assess twelfth-grade students who have learned Spanish in a variety of ways and for different lengths of time. Students will be assessed on the four language skills.
National Assessment of the Educational Process (NAEP) (PDF document)
